Stealin ur Megahurtz

I ventured out in the world today to go partake in a handegg… I mean football game with my friend and coworker, lunchb0x. I took a bit of media with my somewhat shiny semi-new G1 (running CyanogenMod) over the course of watching my alma matter, Michigan Tech, whomp Ferris State 38 to 6. Overall, a damn fine way to spend a Saturday. Now, without further adieu, a few photos from the day. All taken with my cell phone, so not of the greatest quality.

The following videos are of the Michigan Tech pep band. Back when I was up at Tech, the pep band and their shenanigans were one of the biggest reasons to go to sporting events due to the fact that the sporting teams were usually less than impressive. Their tradition of hilarity has clearly continued since I left from their silly hats, to the amusing half time skits and the ridiculous overalls, the Pep Band is still a blast to watch. Once again, video was taken with my camera so I apologize for the poor quality.

The following two videos are not for the weak of heart (or stomach). Both of these excerpts from the documentary “Outlaw” were featured on BoingBoing TV. I felt that they tied in nicely with my last post so I’m posting them here. I urge anyone that feels that the torture that the Bush administration engaged in to watch these videos. Imagine that you were these people, detained for no reason, indefinitely, tortured and denied even the most basic human rights. This is the kind of thing the Nazis did leading up to and during WW2. What makes us think that we should be able to do this kind of thing?
